    Und bild dir ja nichts ein, dass dein bloatiges Ubuntu auf einer etwas langsameren Einkern-Heizung mein leicht bloatigeres Vista auf einem etwas schnelleren Dualcore in einem Benchmark geschlagen hat, der nachweislich noch Probleme in der Mehrkern-Skalierung und der Plattformvergleichbarkeit hat. ;)

    Im Übrigen wäre ich, wenn vielleicht nur innerhalb des allgemeinen Benchmark-Threads, für einen Benchmark über 50 MB AES und Twofish in TrueCrypt – welches zumindestens für Windows und Linux existiert und sehr gut skaliert.

    Noja, ich hätte ja auch mal guggn können, wie es aussieht, wenn ich dem 670er Penzium Prozessor das Hyper Threading "ausknippse". Aber der Rechner ist schon wieder abgebaut lol.

(Will keinen Unsinn an Platz 1 in die Bestenliste setzen.)

  • Also der Xeon E5520 hat eigentlich 4 Kerne pro CPU und HT-Unterstützung, also Virtuell 8 Kerne je CPU.

    Btw: Die Bewertung "Xaar: 4306 Pkt. @ Athlon 64 FX-72 2×2,80 GHz" ist net ganz richtig. Das waren 2 Athlon 64 FX-72 drinnen. Korrekt wäre somit:

    ja das is ne Dual i7 Xeon Kiste, und auch genau die wo in Geekbench stehen mit 2,26/2,27Ghz.

    Leider läuft bei dem Benchmark noch der X-Server im Hintergrund. Wenn ich den kille und im Runlevel 1 starte, ist die ganze Bude noch langsamer als mit 2 DDR2-533-SDRAM-Modulen (also nur CPU0 im Dual-Channel-Modus) o_O
